Tuk Tuk tour and free walking tour is the must
Being hassled by people trying to sell you all sorts of things on the streets
Itinerary Overview
We planned this long weekend trip with my girlfriend a few weeks after arriving in the Maldives. We flew from the UK at the same time as the storm was going to hit the UK. Fortunately, we left in time before some roads and the ferry was closed due to bad weather. When we arrived it was like 20 degrees in Lisbon, we left our bags and went straight out to explore the city on foot, there are so many properties with so many characters. We mostly tried small local restaurants with fantastic food and local red wine.
From the moment you arrive in Lisbon, the atmosphere in the streets can be felt as friendly and welcoming. You can hear music playing all around all the time¡ we love it!
The people and their hospitality were something that really surprised us.
Local markets, food, and traditional music were some of the biggest attractions on our trip.

Alfama Skip the sweat, embrace the fun: Lisbon Tuk Tuk Tour for History Buffs & Foodies and Tours from Lisbon to Sintra
After walking everywhere for a couple of days we decided to do Tuk Tuk tour, make sure you negotiate the price beforehand, this party tuk Tuk driver was super friendly and had a lot of knowledge of the history, we started the trout in the town and went to Lisbon cathedral stopped band went inside and then, Castle de s Jorge and explored Alfama old city, the whole city has so much history and narrow walkways.
one of the things we enjoy the most is having the option to stop in different places and try the local food.
so we talked to the driver and he made this possible.
at the end of the day, we were thankful to have taken the tuk tuk as the streets in the area are quite steep.
this is the best option to enjoy a nice day in the city but without overdoing it with exercise.

Park and National Palace of Pena Explor the castle and learn about the history
We’ve booked a tour to go and explore the Peña castle, the castle that a young Spanish king designed and built it to show his love for his queen.
The interesting thing was the castle had different architectural parts inspired by different cou that he visited.
The history of the castle and the whole family tree is just unbelievable, and the castle is actually open to the public, so you can walk through most of the main areas.
The value of the tour was approximately 30 euros, and it can be a good plan to walk and learn about the history of the place.
with a good weather and a good company is an excellent plan for everyone.
