Itinerary Overview
This was one of my dreams to fulfill, and I was anxiously awaiting the moment to get to this place,
the view and the lagoon are some of the most incredible things I saw on my trip.
The expectations were very high, and I was waiting for the moment to be there.
Initially, this trip I had thought of doing it with a group of friends from school, but finally it was not possible for them to arrive at this time, however, it was worth everything to see the majesty of this place.
We started our journey in the morning, hoping all the time to see our place sounded.
When you are traveling, many people are talking about this place and how unmissable it must be.
So I made the decision to make this trip a reality.

Los Huemules Daily hike in a beautiful park
We arrived to the park around 9:00 from El Chalten after 30 minutes ride. First, we went to the visitor's center to get some information about the road and about the huemules- the animals that you might see in the park. The entrance to the park costs 1,500 pesos. We got a map and started walking to Laguna del diablo. The ruth is very clear, 6km and 320 meters of ascent in total. You walk in a beautiful forest near a large river that empties from the lagoon. 1 km before the refugee there is a split of trails, if you take the right road you can see another view of the glacier and the lagoon, it's recommended! Then you can go back to the road and take the left path that leads to the refugee. It took us 3 hours, and when we got there we were amazed by the view. If you want to sit inside the refugee, you need to order something, I recommend the pancake and the hot chocolate. It costs 1,500 pesos, and it's really comforting. Also, the refugee itself is really special, there is a library, sitting area, fireplace and highlight-large windows with stunning views of the lagoon, the mountain, and the glacier. After the nice break, we continue the hike-we went back most of the way we came until we saw a split on the road leading to Laguna Verde and Laguna Azul. It was 5km of moderate descent to get to the lagoons.

Laguna Verde Tourism
The first lagoon was Laguna verde (verde means green) which was not huge or impressive, but then we continued to Laguna azul, which was stunning.- huge, with a deep blue color (azul means blue) and a view to mountain Fitz Roy. Then, we got to another split road and continue with the one that goes next to Laguna Azul (the right one) until we saw the nice waterfall. From the waterfall to the parking lot we walked 3km in the forest, about 45 minutes of walk. The taxi driver was waiting for us after we set an hour with him in the morning. It was a really nice day!
