Singapore Itinerary 4 Days

I didn't expect to like it so much but I ended up loving Singapore. It's a great multicultural country (city state) with eye-catching architecture, sparkling clean streets, extremely low crime rate and beautiful nature everywhere you look. If time allows I would suggest to spend at least 3 full days in Singapore. But I'm convinced that you would not be bored even if you stayed for a week or longer. Here are a few places that we managed to see during our short stay there. 

• Hawker Centers (all over the city) - even if you're not a street food fan, don't knock it till you try it. There's a good reason why Hawker Culture in Singapore was successfully inscribed as Singapore's first element on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Hawker Center in Singapore do not resemble the infamous wet markets. Quite the contrary, as you can find there many stalls that were granted Michelin Guide stars where you can eat for as little as 6SGD (which is around 4.5USD)
• Supertree Garden Rhapsody  - showtimes daily, 7.45pm and 8.45pm. Shows are free but it's worth being half an hour earlier if you want to reserve a good spot to see the show. Bring a drink and a blanket if you want to sit down and look up at the trees. It is an absolute must see! It's a very touristy attraction but so worth seeing. 
• Spectra - a light and water show - showtimes Sun – Thu: 8pm & 9pm
  Fri & Sat: 8pm, 9pm & 10pm. No need to be there way in advance as the area is big and there's enough space for everyone to see and enjoy the show.
• National Museum of Singapore - it's a museum dedicated to Singaporean art, culture and history. If you want to learn about Singapore's history this is the place to go to. Also nice if you just want a 2 hour break in an air-conditioned place and also learn something while at it. 
• Flower Dome and Cloud Forest - it's worth to combine visit in these two places. We bought tickets online because we wanted to avoid long queues but you might as well just buy it there before entering. It's totally worth visiting even if you're not into flowers, etc. Flower Dome conservatory holds the Guinness World Record for the largest glass greenhouse and to our surprise the temperature inside was successfully cooled down and felt very pleasant. Same goes for the Cloud Forest, a place with one of the world’s tallest indoor waterfalls and a lush mountain clad with plants from around the world. 
• National Gallery Singapore - sadly we didn't have enough time to explore it thoroughly as it's the world's largest public display of modern Southeast Asian art. This national museum is a must see if you're into art but I think you would need at least half a day get a good look. 

If you have more time in Singapore it might be worth to visit Sentosa Island, Singapore Botanic Gardens or Universal Studios. We also run our of time to go to Red Dot Design Museum and an ArtScience Museum.
