Itinerary Overview
I arrived to Saint Croix around 5pm. On my arrival day I didn’t plan to do much but ended up doing so. My friend who’s family is originally from there was there waiting for me. She picked me up the. We grabbed a bit to eat. Later that evening her uncle took us to a local outside restaurant where we ate and danced until past midnight!
I visited Saint Croix last year with a friend who’s family was from there and it was a beautiful experience. Already used to the tropical life and way of living, I felt right at home. Most of our days were spent with meditation and naps on the beach. The island isn’t that big, therefore there wasn’t much to do but there was a chill nightlife there where you can go dancing and meet new people. The food and the people were always nice and welcoming. We went jet skiing a couple of times and were able to snorkel while out in the sea. We were met by many fish which were easy to see through the clear blue waters.
I enjoyed the boardwalk. It was beautiful with a lot of yummy restaurant choices. The vibes were chill and everyone was welcoming and helpful when it came to recommendations. We went swimming of course and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Not too much more to really say about it.
The scenery was beautiful. The flowers were vibrant and brought many cute little creatures from hiding. The weather was lovely and wasn’t too hot. There was a lot of history there filled with so many happenings from the past. We were able to learn about different types of flowers and where they originated from.
