Situated in Chilean Patagonia, The Singular Patagonia hotel is housed in the historic Frigorífico Bories cold storage facility, now designated as a National Heritage Site. Take advantage of the amenities before a 6:00 PM welcome briefing followed by a dinner featuring Chilean wines.
In the morning, embark on a catamaran to get an up-close look at Balmaceda Glacier, followed by a hike in Bernardo O’Higgins National Park to reach the Serrano Glacier.
Enjoy a scotch with ancient ice and enjoy a traditional lunch. After a picturesque drive, arrive at Torres del Paine National Park for a sunset experience and dinner at your lakeside hotel.
The vastness of Torres del Paine, along with its diverse activities and unpredictable weather, calls for three nights on the park's west side and three nights at Cerro Guido on the east.
The next day we will experience easy hikes, scenic drives, and photo opportunities at iconic locations. A navigation on Grey Lake to Grey Glacier is also included, with activities tailored to the weather and the group's interests.
Following an early breakfast, set out on a wildlife-focused adventure across Torres del Paine, on the lookout for pumas and other wildlife.
Your guide will choose optimal stops for lunch and wildlife viewing, with optional hikes to enhance your chances of spotting different species. Gain insights into the park’s flora, fauna, and sustainability practices before arriving at Estancia Cerro Guido for dinner.
Estancia Cerro Guido, located east of Torres del Paine, is a 250,000-acre working ranch renowned for its wildlife, particularly puma sightings. The historic homes from the 1920s have been transformed into a luxurious hotel. Guests can indulge in gaucho experiences, savor traditional asados, and enjoy horseback riding while exploring secluded, wildlife-rich areas that offer stunning views.
Leave Cerro Guido in Chile and cross into Argentina, where you may encounter some border delays. Journey across the grassy steppes to El Calafate, a lively town by Lago Argentino.
After a lunch stop along the way, check into your hotel and take some time to explore the town. Your expedition leader will suggest local restaurants for dinner on your own.
Next day we will explore the Perito Moreno Glacier, Patagonia's most renowned and dynamic glacier, rising nearly 200 feet above Lago Argentino. Take light hikes to enjoy different perspectives of the glacier, icebergs, and local birdlife. After lunch, visit the Glaciarium before heading back to the hotel.
