As a little girl growing up in Ohio, I dreamed about traveling the world.
I finally made it to Europe when I was 15 and have been hopping around the globe ever since! I have now visited 123 countries and all 7 continents and have lived in Hong Kong, Delhi/Mumbai, New York, Auckland (New Zealand), and Prague.
After many years working in the tourism industry, I founded Notripophobia as a platform to promote lesser known destinations and am a huge proponent of the power of tourism to promote education and international development. I recently finished a two contract working for a sustainable tourism company in India. I now live in Mexico and am amazed at how much this country has to offer!
Besides travel, my passions are history, beer and Broadway musicals. I am a lifelong learner and have a Master's degree in geopolitical studies and teaching certification in US/world history, a New York City tour guide license and was even a beer tour guide in Prague (best job ever!).
